Dizziness

Some people experience dizziness during Aerial Yoga.  Peppermint oil can really aid in reducing dizziness.  To use the peppermint oil, put a little bit on the wrists, rub the wrists together and then inhale the scent.  It should take just a few minutes to resolve.

When doing inversions, be sure to keep breathing as hold in the breath can create dizziness.

After an inversion, be sure to come up slowly as coming up too fast can cause a drop in blood pressure and create dizziness.

If you are new to Aerial Yoga, do not invert for long periods of time.  Take it slow and work up to longer periods.
