Hello yoga lovers! My name is Rachael. I moved to Maryland with my fiancé almost 2 years ago and desperately needed something to help me unwind and keep my body active. I instantly fell in love with aerial yoga my first class. While my current primary focus is being a sonographer at the University of Maryland, I wanted to spread my love for this practice by becoming an instructor. My teaching style focuses on sharing the therapeutic potential of aerial yoga such as; flexibility, strengthening, energy and body awareness, and self care. I believe that there’s more to life than what meets the eye and time for yourself is essential, not only for you, but for your loved ones as well. And no better way to de-stress from your everyday lives like a yoga class. I love to see students light up when they challenge their bodies and accomplish new skills. My goal is to surround students with positivity and help them take full advantage of aerial benefits each class. Whether you’re an experienced aerialist or a first timer, every body can benefit from this practice and I’m excited to share it with you.
